Earthwise 60020 20-Inch 24 Volt Cordless Electric 3-in-1 Lawn Mower with Grass Bag Review
We have been wanting a cordless mower for a few years now... and this one just came on sale, so we snatched it up late in the season. We love it! It works as advertised... has good safety features, holds a charge for a long time, and ohhhhhh sooooo handy to just grab it and go... spilling gasoline is a thing of the past, no constant pulling on a rope to get it going, no smoke, loud engine noise, etc. I highly recommend this model, it is great.

Don't buy this mower - D. MACDONALD - Westlake TX
I have a St. Augustine lawn and mow it every week. Don't buy this mower. I bought one from Amazon 3/20/2009 and it died in May of 2010. The battery will no longer charge. The mower comes with a 2 year warranty but the battery only has a one year warranty. The battery is not removable so if you want to replace it you'll have to spend another 0 for the part then take the mower to a dealer (good luck finding one) to replace it. This mower is very heavy and is not self propelled. It is so heavy in fact, that the wheels leave tracks in the grass that spring back up after you mow so the grass looks uneven after you cut it. Also, the stone guard in the back is rubber and can get caught under the blades. If you pull backwards on the mower the guard will roll under the blades and get shredded. I know it sounds like an environmentally conscious purchase but if you take into account the fact that this cheaply built and designed product weighs over 100 pounds, probably gets shipped half way around the world and needs to be replaced yearly then it's carbon footprint easily exceeds that of my brand new gas powered Toro.
Discontinued - where to get parts?? - David Ottalini - Silver Spring, Md. USA
I see the manufacturer has now discontinued this unit. After one season, I had to order new back wheels and a new "custom grip" for it because it rips. Wheels can't handle turns over time - they're made of plastic and the fins that are supposed to lend support tear and break over time. I was able to get parts from American Lawn Mower last year but it's website is broken these days. Wish I'd ordered more wheels! Otherwise, the unit works as advertised and handles a medium-sized front and back yard without a problem. Recharge takes a few hours but really not an issue. If anyone knows who is selling parts these days, please include them in the reviews.
Underpowered and not good at bagging. I miss my Black and Decker - Ray Salemi - Framingham, MA USA
I am a big fan of cordless mowers, and had a Black and Decker for year. But, I found the B&D to be pricey and when the battery finally faded on that mower I switched to the Earthwise. I've been underwhelmed.
The mower is underpowered and quickly loses its charge if it gets into tough grass. The bagging system clogs immediately and is useless for grass longer than 6 inches. The side discharge system also clogs easily.
I miss my Black and Decker cordless.
